Global Sustain announces a membership agreement with Social Value International
04.11.2014
Global Sustain announces a membership agreement with Social Value International, the largest international social value network in the world representing those working to better understand, account for, measure, analyse, and manage the wider value created and destroyed by organisational activity. With this agreement, Global Sustain reaffirms its commitment to the social value that results from corporate activity.
Social Value International also becomes a member of Global Sustain, with the aim to utilise the latter’s comprehensive communication and networking services. Through Global Sustain membership, Social Value International finds a platform and an extensive network to raise awareness about social value and social impact.
“Global Sustain, with this collaboration acknowledges the importance of social value driven corporate actions, since due to global developments, the inclusion of social and environmental issues in the decision making progress is more than ever needed and it’s something that our members are increasingly looking for”, quoted Michael Spanos, Managing Partner, Global Sustain.
“The membership agreement with Global Sustain will leverage the networking potential between the two organisations in order to raise awareness about social value and the need to account for the tangible as well as intangible assets and results of corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies, policies and programmes”, quoted Jeremy Nicholls, Chief Executive, Social Value International.

About the SROI Network
Social Return on Investment (SROI) is a framework for measuring and accounting for the value created or destroyed by our activities – where the concept of value is much broader than that which can be captured by market prices. SROI seeks to reduce inequality and environmental degradation and improve wellbeing by taking account of this broader value. The SROI Network is an international membership organisation with members in over 40 countries. The membership comprises business advisors, academics, funders and individuals representing organisations across all sectors. www.thesroinetwork.org
