Social Investment and Public Services: the next five years
Where:Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, United Kingdom
When:20th January 2015 — from 9:15 AM to 4:15 PM
The event is being hosted in partnership with the Local Government Association and the Big Lottery Fund, as part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Commissioning Better Outcomes (CBO) Fund. It will take place on 20 January 2015, at Kensington Town Hall, London. Thanks to the support of the Big Lottery Fund, the conference is free to attend.
The conference will bring together representatives from leading local authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations and social investors to discuss social investment as an additional source of long-term funding for early intervention and prevention in public services. The conference will consider the twin objectives of generating savings and improving quality of service, helping you to assess whether social impact bonds and other payment by results-based models are suitable for your community. It will also showcase Social Impact Bonds that have been developed over the past twelve months through the Big Lottery Fund CBO funding.
