What we offer
SIAA aims to achieve its vision through work in three priority areas:
- Network and partnership building
- Professionalisation and development
- Communicating and representing social impact analysis
To contribute and benefit from these areas of focus, become a SIAA member today!
Network and partnership building
We provide an online platform and facilitate working groups in which our members can access peer support, share their work and dialogue about issues they care about.
We are also building country impact groups and partnerships around social impact analysis which aim to host events and build peer support networks on a local level. Contact us if you’d like to learn more or partner with us on an event.
The SIAA Annual Conference is also a key event for all those interested in social impact analysis internationally.
SIAA also works in partnership with other associations, membership bodies, funding bodies, government departments and universities worldwide.
Professionalisation and development of social impact analysis
A core aim for SIAA is to move forward and professionalise the practice of social impact analysis. To this end we are building an online resource centre to share information about social impact analysis. We also convene member-led working groups on key issues around social impact, starting with a mapping of existing principles around social impact analysis.
SIAA’s unique new mentoring scheme for social impact analysts is a professional development opportunity. We are also working towards training, and in the longer term towards certification of analysts, based on standards developed and vetted by our membership.
Professional representation and communicating social impact analysis
SIAA works to raise awareness of social impact analysis and the positive role it can play for social-purpose organisations. We do this via marketing, events and press work. In the longer term, we aim to engage with policy and be a mouthpiece for our members internationally as the leading impact sector body.
